About the Role:
Currently, we are seeking a motivated and qualified individuals to join our growing team as a Long Hole Driller in Timmins, ON. There are currently multiple open positions that we are actively looking to fill to support the continued success of our operations. The key responsibilities of the Long Hole Driller include but are not limited to:
Drill production holes for long hole stopes and possibly cable bolt holes
Will be using long hole buggy top hammer drills
Safely and efficiently execute drilling operations according to project specifications
Complete safety inspections of workplace and eliminating/correcting any hazards by following prints and drilling instructions
Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Qualifications
1 - 2 years of buggy drilling with long holes and/or production holes
Proficient in operating drilling equipment, including Long Hole Drills
Ability to read prints, follow a long hole drilling ring plan, and establish set up
Experience with drilling slot raises and inverse raises
Must have valid Basic Underground Common Core (770225) with specialty module ; U00090
Need be willing to travel to site in Timmins, Ontario
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality, safety, and the well-being of your team
Ability to work well in a team environment

5 – 5 – 4 Schedule
11 hour shifts
