Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Corporate Development The Senior Analyst, Corporate Development will help support all corporate development activities at Moneris, with a focus on identifying, evaluating & implementing strategic acquisitions and investment opportunities. You will work with the executive leadership team and senior members of the Corporate Development team to drive business growth and expansion. This position requires strong financial modelling experience, and the ability to navigate complex M&A processes to support Moneris in its strategic objectives. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Financial Modelling & Valuation Analysis: Develop detailed financial models and valuations to evaluate acquisition opportunities, including financial projections and data analysis. M&A Project Management: Manage the daily due diligence and post-merger integration activities, working with cross-functional teams in finance, legal, and other departments to ensure smooth execution. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct industry research to identify growth opportunities within Moneris' business verticals and potential expansion into new markets, and providing insights into the competitive landscape. Team Collaboration & Senior Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate goals. Present investment conclusions and business cases to executives and the Board of Directors. Strategy Development & Execution: Contribute to the development of corporate strategy and M&A strategy, including identifying new acquisition opportunities and areas for business expansion. Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor's degree, with majors in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or a quantitative field. CPA or CFA preferred or other relevant specialised experience or education More than 2 years experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or consulting. Previous experience in financial services, payments, or technology industries.
