In this role you will be supporting the delivery of critical capabilities for the Canadian Army. You will be working with a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver Intelligence, Reconnaissance, Target Acquisition and Surveillance capabilities into a fully integrated tactical network. You will be part of an agile development team, responsible for integration and test of hardware and software configuration items.The ideal candidate is curious and has a passion for communications. You like to investigate and would enjoy the challenge of integrating multiple systems, containing multiple applications into a larger complex system. Due to the levels of development and integration, the SI V&V team develops verification test cases at multiple levels. You will design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests at the product and system level.The following are typical responsibilities of SI V&V team members:Review requirement specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases in order to develop test cases for integration and verificationPrepare and review integration and verification test procedures and reportsPerform system integration and verification in labs as requiredPrepare test cases in a lab environment/in vehiclesExecute test cases in a lab environment and where applicable within the vehicles; analyze, interpret and document resultsPerform analysis and interpretation of integration and verification test resultsPrepare, analyze, and track defect reportsParticipate in System Technical Review Board as requiredGenerate and maintain test scripts for automated testingMap test cases as requiredParticipate in reviews, inspections and auditsContribute to continuous improvement initiativesExpand knowledge of latest technologies, products and market trends relevant to area of workPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable scientific discipline Experience with product level testing.Experience with test automation tools and framework such as Robot, Selenium, SQUISH, etc.Experience in scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic, etc.Experience developing test plans and test reports.Good understanding of Agile Principle and DevopsGood communication skillsMust be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
