About this Position The Life Operations Business Analyst functions as a liaison between the business users and programmers to ensure that projects meet outlined objectives and resolve system issues. The candidate delivers project management, and implementation support for key organizational initiatives. This position will support Life Operations system projects and enhancement initiatives that will include, but not be limited to, working with Digital Client team on real time application status updates, mainframe and distributed system updates, simplifying communications to Life Insurance clients and supporting multi-lingual communications to Life clients, modernization and migration to new platforms, integration with third-party vendors. The Business Analyst will also assist with reporting, troubleshooting, researching, and testing production environment defects. Responsibilities and Qualifications RESPONSIBILITES: Coordinate, manage and execute projects and other tasks for Life Insurance business Research and resolve system dependencies, limitations, issues and concerns Develop and maintain statistical reports as needed for all levels of management Devise and recommend solutions and options for system design and enhancements Business Process Automation and streamlining Business processes for efficiencies Design and develop user stories for business requirements specific to business objectives Design and execute test plans to effectively test the IT solutions developed to meet defined business requirements Works with senior leadership to design and drive change Oversee and implement programs that support short and long-term plans Broad knowledge of the systems and processes and business functions they support Miscellaneous duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: 2-3 years Project Management Experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, or related field preferred, not required Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Teams, Visio, JIRA, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of QMF or SQL and database structures Agile & Version One experience a plus Knowledge of application design and software development methodologies Able to read and query against XML Workflow design experience a plus Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills Outstanding problem solving and situational analysis skills Ability to communicate within and across diverse project teams Ability to work with time sensitivity and handle multiple and changing priorities simultaneously Strong analytical aptitude Self-motivated with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment Able to work independently with limited direction from management Bilingualism would be considered an asset It has been and will continue to be the policy of Primerica, Inc., and its subsidiaries to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
