Synopsis of the role At Equifax, the Summer 2025 software engineer, a 15-week co-op program, is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. Equifax Technology team will collaborate in building new applications. They will have an opportunity to learn from our seasoned employees on diverse projects helping us solve business problems. The 15 week co-op program runs from May 6th, 2025 to August 22nd, 2025. Co ops are required to follow our hybrid onsite policy of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - onsite for the duration of the 15 - week program. Monday and Friday are remote work days. Co ops must be local to the Toronto/ Montreal area and have the ability to commute to our office in Toronto / Montreal based on where the role is. What you’ll do Analyze existing applications and build new cloud applications. Communicate ideas clearly in written and diagram form. What experience you need Demonstrate ability to understand cloud-native projects Knowledge in private, public and hybrid cloud architecture, networking, workload types, migration patterns and tools Experience with databases (sql, no-sql) Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GO,) What could set you apart 2+ years of progressive experience within Information Technology 1+ years of proven GCP experience Strong oral and written communication skills Outstanding personal initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to meet deadlines and efficiently multitask Primary Location: CAN-Toronto-5700 Yonge Function: Function - Internships Schedule: Full time At Equifax, we believe knowledge drives progress.
