For assistance on how to apply, please click here Job Description: Position Overview This co-op position is responsible for assisting with basic accounting administration which includes posting, balancing and closing activities within accounting systems. Key Responsibilities Assist with processing payments and tickets to producers Verify invoices received and process payments for freight Monitor customer invoices and accounts Prepare and assist with month-end reports and journal entries Verify, research and resolve discrepancies Provide quality service to internal and external customers that is tactful and knowledgeable What is expected of you and others at this level Acquire basic skills to perform routine tasks Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy Works with either close supervision, or under clearly defined procedures Minimum Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Pursuing degree in business-related major Participant of university co-op program preferred 0-2 years’ relevant experience would be considered an asset This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
