The Evidera Data Analytics team supports the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology/ medical device companies throughout the product lifecycle, from early pre-launch planning to launch and post-marketing management. Our focus is on helping our clients build economic and epidemiological evidence to demonstrate and support the value of their products, through analysis of large health administrative databases (e.g., medical claims, electronic health records, registries, etc Location/Division Specific Information This role will be working within Evidera's Data Analytics team working remotely. The Director reports to the Executive Director of Strategic Business Operations. Position Overview: The Oversight Director plays a key role in the smooth running of the RWE Data Analytics business unit through oversight of key accounts and strategic business operations workstreams. Main responsibilities include to select key accounts, establishing the operational model and pricing for new offerings, and leadership of process optimization and integration activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Provides operational expertise in regard to oversight of key client accounts and complex studies. In charge of ensuring the success and expansion of key Functional Service Provider accounts in Data Analytics as well as complex studies. Brings operational know-how to effectively handle key account delivery, addressing critical issues in a timely manner. Promotes critical thinking among Project Leads and PMs when it comes to delivery operations, financial negotiations, and managing risks and concerns. Leads the development of operational strategy for proposals and pre-proposal opportunities. Serves as subject matter expert in this regard on bid defense and capabilities presentations. Interacts frequently with internal and external management and senior-level customer representatives concerning projects & portfolios, operational decisions, delivery milestones, and / or contractual clarifications. Leads briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives. Establishes, communicates and manages customer expectations to achieve efficient delivery. Drives and owns the overall delivery of cross-functional projects (time, cost, quality, compliance). Drives maturation and growth of key accounts, particularly in the FSP contracting model, for Data Analytics services. Responsible for billable & sales targets. Supervises the implementation of critical initiatives in Data Analytics related to growth, partnerships, quality, revenue, and/or systems integration, following the Annual Operating Plan. Collaborates with the Initiative Lead (Sr Director or above) to ensure a seamless rollout. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including collaborators, customers, partners, and team members, to facilitate change, streamline processes, and provide effective solutions. Identifies and directs the implementation of policies to improve the efficiency of the department. Develops solutions to highly complex and outstanding issues that impact and address future concepts, products or technologies. May hold people management responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned. Education, Professional Skills & Experience: Equivalent experience is acceptable in addition to a Master's degree or relevant formal academic/vocational qualification. Previous experience should provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job (at least 12+ years) with 5+ years of management responsibility. Good understanding of RWE and pharma development lifecycle, with experience in either RWE or health-related observational/non-interventional research studies. Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PgMP, CAPM), Business Administration degree, or demonstration of project management skills including scope, budgeting, forecasting, timelines, resource management, and use of project management systems (e.g. MS Project). Proven experience in managing collaborations with diverse teams across different regions and organizations. Demonstrated success in a similar role that has consistently achieved measurable results and business impact as a result of intelligence analysis and related work product. Ability to develop data-driven arguments. Excels at building and maintaining relationships across various fields both within and outside the organization. Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple projects simultaneously delivering all at a high-level under tight timeline constraints. Ability to articulate situational analysis with strong presentation skills and contribute to executive-level discourse. Well-developed quantitative and qualitative data review and analysis skills. Deep understanding of the pharma lifecycle, particularly from the observational research perspective as it relates to sponsors, data custodians, and site investigators. Good command of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Previous work in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
