Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As an Experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcing Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Identifying and attracting passive senior-level talent across various recruitment platforms
Using creativity to proactively build and maintain diverse sourcing pipelines
Fostering relationships with candidates for current and future opportunities
Learning about the motivators, career drivers, and skill sets of referred and directly sourced talent through behavioral and skill-based interviewing techniques
Providing an exceptional candidate experience from the point of engagement through to hire
Establishing a strong network of potential candidates across various industries and competency areas via networking, market research, and relationship management
Attending sourcing strategy meetings with talent acquisition managers and hiring partners to gain an understanding of the role and the skill set required while communicating a strategic sourcing approach
Sharing data-driven market expertise with clients on the current talent landscape
Building relationships within PwC to understand the strategic objectives and regional sourcing needs of the client base while simultaneously championing the recruitment process and acting as an expert talent advisor
Growing and maintaining a tracking system to provide metrics on the success of sourcing initiatives
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Demonstrated success in identifying and attracting passive talent within an executive search firm, recruitment agency, or in-house environment
Strong experience sourcing technical talent in a competitive market
The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
Demonstrated expertise in creatively sourcing diverse senior hires within professional services organizations
Strong headhunting and candidate networking background, coupled with success in the use of social media as a recruitment tool
Strong understanding of sourcing programs to drive the execution of strategic sourcing priorities
Comprehensive understanding of the national and local sourcing market and staying close to market changes
Excellent competency and skill set-based interviewing skills
Confidence to influence and negotiate with hiring managers, candidates, and agencies
Strong practical experience with Workday and Microsoft Office Suite in an environment where high data integrity is crucial
Adept at employing digital/AI tools to enhance recruitment processes
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable operating with a customer-centric mindset and strong sense of urgency
Agility in navigating and contributing to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities
Ability to work and navigate effectively in a matrix organization/partnership structure and interact with all levels within an organization up to senior leadership
