Job Summary Job Description What is the Opportunity? As the Senior Manager, Brokerage Distribution, you will lead a team of managers supporting our full Brokerage Distribution channel including, MGAs, National Accounts, Direct Producers and InterCorporate Partners to champion and execute their sales growth, initiatives and strategies. This role will also be actively aligned to support select top key accounts. What will you do? Maximize sales results of the Distributors through collaboration with the sales leaders in the development of business plans to meet their annual sales goals. Lead and develop a team of Managers who are aligned and connected to our Distributors. Accountable for delivery of our best-in-class Key Distributor Strategy, including quarterly reviews, year end planning, goal setting sessions and provide leadership to the team on the execution with their assigned Distributors. Maintain relationship with key senior leaders at our Distributors and directly support a block of our top key accounts. Liaison with internal partners on issues/inquiries/concerns of our Distributors. Represent our Distributors view to provide and gather feedback on development of sales tools, digital applications and new products. Providing feedback to teams in Sales Communications, Sales Delivery, Advisor Development and Sales Effectiveness on Distributor needs. Member of the Brokerage Sales Management team and work closely with the VP Brokerage Sales VP, RVPs and Sales Consultants to collaborate and achieve common sales goals and strategies. What do you need to succeed? Must Have Must have in depth knowledge (5 to 7 years minimum) of the insurance distribution environment specifically third party Brokerages sales Experience executing and delivering successful sales plans People Management experience Project Management, stakeholder experience Must have demonstrated exceptional relationship management skills Experience prioritizing several projects at the same time and meeting deliverable dates. University/College Degree/Diploma in Business, Sales or Marketing, an MBA would be an asset Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Analytical ability, initiative and good judgment High-quality time management skills Strong technical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Nice to have Strong knowledge of Life, Disability and Wealth Insurance Products Familiarity of Insurance Compensation Models What’s in it for you?
