OVERVIEW
The Raw Sugar Analyst assists with the logistical and trading functions of our Global Sugars Group, part of Redpath Sugar Ltd.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist with all aspects of the Redpath GSG function as follows but not limited to:
Vessel nomination and documentation
Canada Customs clearance for raw sugar imports
Prepare and calculate Demurrage/Dispatch Statements
Verify settlement of polarization and quality statements
Invoice verification and payment processing
Administer Sustainability program
Maintaining trading information and systems
Provide commercial support for Raw Sugar Trading group including but not limited to sourcing and logistics
Operational analysis
All other administrative functions regarding raw sugar vessels, etc.
WORK EXPERIENCES
Minimum 2 years experience in a commodity trading and/or marine logistics preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree
ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to work in team environment both internal and external to the company
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong computer skills primarily Microsoft products
