Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? As the Senior Director & Head, Fund Business Management, you will lead a vertical in the Chief Investment Office of RBC Insurance, which focuses on the business management aspects of the CIO office, including (but not limited to) 1B function including risk limits, product partnership/pricing, cash/collateral/fx management, and FP&A. What will you do? Oversee staff that are responsible for the 1B drafting, Enterprise alignment, and maintenance of risk limits/thresholds Oversee staff that work with the CRO office to measure/monitor limits Oversee staff that work with the CFO office to manage attributed and excess capital Oversee staff that work with the CFO office to provide a front office view of PnL Partner with global peers to measure/manage collateral in a cost effective fashion Partner with global peers to measure/manage FX in a cost effective fashion Own all business management aspects of the CIO office (including cost analysis, administration of access controls, etc) Partner with the data science group to create dashboards related to the above What do you need to succeed? Must-have Knowledge of risk frameworks (market risk limits, investment policies, trade governance, etc), treasury frameworks (capital, transfer pricing, collateral management, fx/repos, and finance frameworks (FP&A, front line PnL estimates, expense management) Technical master’s degree Working knowledge of Data Science (Python, Snowflake, Tableau) Culture Carrier – leading by example with an inclusive, collaborative agile mindset Nice-to-have FSA, CFA, CERA, CAIA Designations Deep understanding of CAR and LICAT capital guidelines History of designing governance policies, limit constructs, and benchmarking portfolio performance History of trade administration (Bloomberg AIM, Fenergo, etc) What’s in it for you?
