EBC is seeking a dynamic and Bilingual Communications Advisor to play a key role in shaping and executing our internal and external communications strategies.
Reporting to the Manager of Communications, you will be instrumental in promoting EBC's mission, vision, values, and achievements across various platforms. You will serve as a trusted communications advisor and partner to internal teams, driving impactful narratives and ensuring consistent brand messaging.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Counsel & Planning
Collaborate with the Director and Manager of Communications to provide insightful recommendations for enhancing the company's internal and external communication strategies, publications, and tools.
Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive communication plans, including defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure their effectiveness.
Champion EBC's brand identity, ensuring consistent application across all communication channels and aligning messaging with the company's overarching objectives and strategic plan.
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead and manage diverse communication projects and internal initiatives.
Partner effectively with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., graphic designers, translators) to facilitate project completion and meet evolving communication needs.
Plan and coordinate internal events and campaigns designed to foster strong internal communication, enhance employee engagement, and celebrate EBC's successes and core values.
Content Development & Management
Proactively identify internal communication needs and create compelling content that showcases the value of the company, highlights achievements, and celebrates the contributions of our teams.
Maintain and update content on the company's intranet and website, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and engaging presentation.
Develop a range of communication tools, including engaging newsletters, impactful internal promotional emails, and user-friendly digital forms.
Conceptualize, design, and adapt promotional materials, including the EBC online store, overseeing the procurement and distribution processes.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communication or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies for both internal and external audiences
Demonstrated experience in managing communication projects from conception to completion
Proficiency in developing engaging content for various platforms (website, intranet, social media, email, print)
Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and intranet platforms
Familiarity with digital marketing principles and social media best practices
Available for occasional stays in the Montreal area
