By leveraging specialized knowledge of ALM, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation, GTB Portfolio Management manages the balance sheet strategy of GTB to meet long-term financial objectives. Job Description: The Director GTB Deposits Portfolio Management is a key strategic member of the portfolio management team and of GTB. Reporting directly to the Head GTB Portfolio Management, the Director GTB Deposits Portfolio Management will be a catalyst in defining the balance sheet strategy and optimal return for GTB deposits. They will have accountability for: Monitor KPIs on portfolio returns, identify risks or opportunities, and design solutions to execute to optimize return on deposits Inform GTB balance sheet strategy outlining insights on clients, products, and duration mix to achieve long-term business objectives Monitoring client-level returns, identification of outliers and designing solutions to optimize returns Act as the business expert on ALM & Liquidity Management to support GTB deposits (FTP, LAR, Funding, etc.) Act as lead for Treasury to engage GTB on policy, methodology, and implementation of ALM & LM infrastructure for GTB deposits Act as Treasury liaison for engagements on new GTB products or product enhancements in support of GTB business strategy Identify opportunities and advocate for enhancements to ALM & LM infrastructure in alignment with GTB business strategy Qualifications / Skills / Experience: Undergraduate degree in a related field. Graduate degree in a quantitative field or professional designation preferred 10+ years of relevant experience in Asset-Liability Management or Transaction Banking roles Expert in asset and liability management concepts and fixed income (hedging, bond ladders, derivatives) Excellent understanding of Transaction Banking deposit products Excellent relationship skills to manage engagements with internal stakeholders Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize and execute projects that integrate to the team's strategic mandate Ability to analyze and interpret complex information and distill down concepts to generate actionable insights An ability to present ideas to senior leaders in an informed and meaningful manner that leads to business results.
