The Drilling, Completions and Interventions Engineering Technologist will support Terra Nova well work scopes on the Terra Nova subsea field. They will support the design and safe execution of well Drilling, Completion and Intervention activities, in a manner consistent with the Suncor Well Delivery processes to meet the business objectives. They will assist in writing technically rigorous, safe, regulatory compliant and efficient detailed operating procedures for use in the field. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of relevant Oil Field Experience preferably in offshore Drilling, Completions and Interventions Engineering Technology Diploma Familiarity with Oil and Gas fundamentals and willingness to learn about the well construction process Robust Knowledge of MS Office applications and sharepoint development including working knowledge of Power BI Exceptional time management skills, ability to effectively manage competing demands Self Starter with the ability to work independently or in a large team environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong understanding of well design, schematics, downhole tools and service equipment Proficiency in well design software (e.g., WellView, Landmark, WellPlan etc. Proficiency in Fieldglass and SAP Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of Drilling, Completion and Intervention programs in line with Suncor well delivery project model Maintain and update Wellbore Diagrams and Completions/Intervention schematics Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards Collate required information for submittal of ACW’s and ADW’s. Track completion of operations and generate end-of-well reports Interface with vendors for equipment readiness and QA/QC Ensure data integrity across drilling, completions, and intervention phases Participate in risk assessments, DWOPs (Drill Well on Paper), and CWOPs (Complete Well on Paper) Support cost tracking and AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) reconciliation Assist in the development of detailed operating procedures (DOPs) Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Subsurface, HSE, logistics, Finance, etc.) If required, travel offshore and assist in oversight of well operations.
