Job Summary
We are looking for an SAP FI/FSCM Application consultant with strong expertise in the FI SAP module for the worldwide Giesecke+Devrient Group. The position provides the opportunity to work within the Regional Center Americas with an international team of SAP application experts. The role is an essential part of our initiative to enlarge our SAP team and further enhance and strengthen our global 2nd and 3rd level SAP support. By doing that, we want to ensure that business will find a strong partner on our side, being trusted in supporting the daily business, following their growth and bringing the outside in, by offering them new solutions. Besides keeping the system in an optimal operational status, the position also requires participating in IT projects and SAP rollouts on a global scale. Due to our fast-changing business environment, shifts in priorities and ad hoc requests, flexibility is key to success.
Responsibilities
Responsible for SAP FI globally and preferably also FSCM
Support of S/4HANA implementation, international SAP roll-outs and implementation of legal requirements
Global second and third level support for SAP users within the area of Business Management - FI/FSCM (main focus on FI)
Defect analysis, bug fixing in different areas (financial accounting, if possible, also bank communication, treasury & risk management etc.)
Incident- and problem management according ITIL process guidelines
Support for the maintenance of SAP applications and interfaces incl. implementation of IT demands
Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements
Work Experience:
More than 5 years experience in the SAP environment (FI, ideally also FSCM)
Skills and Competencies:
Extensinve knowledge in:
SAP Modules FI, ideally also in FSCM
Customizing skills
Integration FI/FSCM modules with SAP logistic modules
ABAP development skills, debugging knowledge
S/4HANA knowledge / experience preferred
Experienced in SAP rollout/implementation projects and expertise in working in a global support organization and matrix organizations
Analytical and business mindset and deep technical understanding
Ability to learn new technologies and dive into new modules / Add-Ons
Independent and result-oriented working style.
Autonomous “self-starter” mentality, but team player
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Fluent in English. German seen as an asset
Education:
University degree or equivalent qualification
Working Conditions
