Bonfe Mechanic – DOT Certified Diesel Technician

We’re looking for a skilled, DOT Certified Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and in peak condition. What You’ll Do:
Perform scheduled maintenance and DOT inspections on fleet vehicles and service diesel-powered equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across multiple trades’ equipment
Coordinate repairs with department managers to reduce downtime and keep operations running smoothly
Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and field service requests
Maintain accurate service records, logs, and inventory for tools and parts
Keep Bonfe’s equipment and shop tools safe, calibrated, and ready for action
What We’re Looking For:
DOT Certification required with a valid CDL strongly preferred
3+ years of diesel maintenance experience—bonus if it includes service vehicle or utility fleet work
Master problem-solver who knows their way around hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Organized and dependable with a proactive, safety-first mindset
Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and working outdoors in varying conditions
