Cornerstone Co-op is hiring a Liquor Supervisor to support our Liquor Team in Wainwright, AB. This full-time leadership role reports to the Liquor Manager and plays a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a safe, welcoming environment for our member-owners and customers.
What you’ll do:
Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Support the Liquor Manager in overseeing daily store operations and leading the Liquor Team.
Provide coaching, training, and delegation to ensure team members are set up for success.
Ensure department standards are consistently met – including inventory management, ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
Operate the point-of-sale system and perform opening/closing responsibilities.
Maintain a clean, organized store and warehouse environment.
Deliver exceptional customer service in a safe and welcoming environment.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Demonstrate behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen Cornerstone Co-op’s vision, mission, and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are 18 years of age or older.
You have Grade 12 education and/or relevant retail or liquor experience.
You have strong leadership skills and the ability to plan and direct the work of others.
You are comfortable working independently and supporting a team.
You’re able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
You are honest, reliable, results-driven, and customer-focused.
You have, or are willing to obtain, ProServe certification.
You’re organized, results-oriented, and focused on achieving operational goals.
You’re familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and digital file management.
You demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic in everything you do.
