Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Work with a positive and professional attitude and be dependable for all shifts.
• Provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
• Fill orders, receive freight, deliver and unload product, perform inventory counts.
• Build positive relationships with the yard crew, desk and leadership teams.
• Keep aisles, yard and stockpiles neat and free of obstruction.
• Perform customer carry out service and product assembly as assigned.
• Complete required paperwork based on department standards.
• Maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned in all areas of the Home Centre.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:
• You have a grade 12; previous work experience in a home centre retail location or building materials industry would be an asset.
• You must possess sufficient knowledge and experience of Lumber and Building Materials to effectively operate in all areas of their department.
• You must be strongly service oriented and motivated, and capable of serving and assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
• You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license, must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
• You must have a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• You must have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements including heavy lifting and working outside.
