We strive for excellence.Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Regional Director, the Site Manager is responsible for coordinating site activities, managing teams, and ensuring smooth operations related to the purchase, transport, and processing of materials. They contribute to achieving performance objectives while maintaining a safe work environment and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.Main Responsibilities:Supervise, guide, and motivate the work team; conduct performance evaluations and foster a collaborative atmosphere.Monitor employee performance, produce analysis reports, and provide tailored support.Efficiently organize truck dispatch and coordinate transportation schedules.Manage the supply of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.Plan, direct, and oversee daily activities with sector leaders.Set priorities, identify performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.Actively contribute to achieving financial results and controlling operating costs.Prepare necessary reports for management and participate in strategic decision-making.Develop and maintain a customer service culture by building a team focused on meeting local needs.Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve processes and optimize work methods.Execute local marketing actions to increase site visibility and meet specific client needs.Define, document, and update operational policies, procedures, and processes.Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards; take necessary measures to guarantee a safe environment.Perform any other related duties as required by operational needs.QualificationsMinimum of 5–10 years of experience in operational management, including 2 years in the metallurgical or related industry (an asset);Proven experience managing teams of 5+ employees with measurable results;Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written) – professional level;Ability to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives;Expertise in leading organizational transformation projects;Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and project management tools;Desired certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP), or equivalent.Additional InformationFull-time, permanent positionDay shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMWhat We Offer:Competitive salary + additional benefitsAIM Tuition Assistance Program!Vacation, employee benefits, and group RRSP with employer contributions24/7 telemedicine servicesA dynamic and rewarding work environment – work on important and meaningful projects while having fun!American Iron & Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
