Description du poste Vous avez le souci de la précision et une solide base en comptabilité? Nous cherchons un(e) comptable financier(ère) pour rejoindre notre équipe collaborative, avec un accent particulier sur les immobilisations et les rapports financiers. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec un membre senior de l’équipe, bénéficiant d’un encadrement pratique tout en développant vos compétences en analysant les comptes du grand livre, en préparant des rapports et en soutenant les processus financiers clés. Job Summary Do you have a passion for accuracy and a strong foundation in accounting? We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our collaborative team, with a focus on Fixed Assets and financial reporting. You'll work closely with a senior team member, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship as you analyze general ledger accounts, prepare reports, and support key financial processes. Key Responsibilities Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze monthly variances on the balance sheet and income statement Reconcile assigned general ledger and balance sheet accounts Communicate with project managers regarding the status of projects and close them in the system when needed Prepare reports for project financial management and divisional reporting, including continuity schedules, the recording of assets from acquisition to disposition, and reconciliation of data with the General Ledger Validate the accuracy of Capex (Capital expenditures) information for the new projects created Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation Apply IFRS standards and ensure compliance with internal controls Participate in annual inventory counts, including occasional travel to off-site locations Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records or transactions Contribute to ERP implementation, process improvements, and other strategic initiatives Take on additional tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field CPA designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a large corporate environment Solid understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and data-handling skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Bilingual in English and French is preferred IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
