POSITION SUMMARY Air Liquide is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Distribution and Operations Coordinator to play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and seamless flow of goods and hub operational processes. With a strong emphasis on meticulous inventory management and the smooth execution of primary distribution activities, this role is crucial to our operational success. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional record-keeping skills, and a drive to optimize distribution workflows. As a Distribution and Operations Coordinator within our hub, you will report to the Distribution & Operations Supervisor and your main responsibilities will include: Inventory Management: Generate and provide daily inventory reports on critical items, ensuring timely visibility of stock levels. Efficiently manage the reception of incoming inventory and all associated documentation within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the hub. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all inventory transactions occurring within the hub environment. Oversee the reception process for Specialty Gases via the ERP system, including shipments originating from Calgary, Anjou, Airgas, and external vendor Purchase Orders (POs). Conduct regular and thorough inventory updates of the hub's Specialty Gases inventory tool. Prepare and meticulously document merged Specialty Gases closed shipments in accordance with established procedures. Validate and process all arrivals and departures of Specialty Gases to and from the hub, ensuring accuracy and completeness ___ Are you a MATCH? Primary Distribution: Conduct thorough interbranch validation of outbound shipments within Servitrax, including the critical step of obtaining a second signature verification prior to dispatch. Perform necessary corrections and adjustments within Servitrax, ensuring accurate records and obtaining required sign-offs before document handover. Manage interbranch goods receipts for incoming shipments in Servitrax, including meticulous load confirmation and reconciliation. Conduct detailed arrival and departure audits of both P&D (Pick-up and Delivery) and distributor trucks to ensure compliance and accuracy. Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all dangerous goods documentation, adhering to relevant regulations. Implement and maintain a system for digitizing carrier paperwork to facilitate efficient record-keeping, retrieval, and analysis. Perform comprehensive inbound and outbound carrier validation and audits to ensure adherence to service level agreements and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate carrier bookings through third-party logistics (3PL) providers for both out-of-town and urgent (rush) shipments, as required, optimizing cost and delivery timelines.
