Position: Senior Home Centre Associate
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and respond to customer questions
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Familiarize yourself with our product range
Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge
Cashier duties; Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
Prepare and complete special orders and quotes
Provide accurate price and quantity estimates to customers
Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits
Order, receive, and display merchandise
Participate in tasks such as loading products
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
Applicants must be over 14 years old (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
