The Role Leduc is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as its next Director, Corporate Information Technology (CIT). Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, the Director will lead the City’s IT function—advancing digital transformation, driving innovation, and ensuring the stability, security, and responsiveness of enterprise systems and services. This role is critical in aligning IT initiatives with corporate goals, improving governance and project delivery, and implementing Leduc’s Digital Strategy to enhance service quality for staff and the community. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director will foster a service-oriented culture, strengthen cross-departmental relationships, and build organizational confidence in IT—helping shape the City’s digital future and its impact on both organizational performance and community success. Key Accountabilities Strategic IT Leadership Financial Stewardship Operational Leadership People Leadership Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have the following: Education: ·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's and relevant certifications such as PMP, Prosci, CGEIT, ITIL 4, TOGAF are assets). Experience: ·A Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership, ideally in public sector environments, with a strong track record in strategic planning, project and change management, budgeting, and driving innovative, business-aligned technology solutions. ·Proven leadership, team-building, and priority-setting abilities.
