Our dynamic team is growing and we are searching for the right individual to join our Spence Studio Team in Vancouver, BC, as a Jewelry Casting Technician. The focus of this role will be lost wax casting. This is a long term, rewarding career opportunity. Qualifications:
Experience with lost wax casting is an asset but not necessary
High school diploma or equivalent
Desire for continuous personal and professional development
Highly organized, detail oriented and efficient with time
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Ability to multitask and set priorities
Team oriented
Responsibilities:
Cast 14k, 18k, 19k, and platinum using lost wax casting method
Clean investment from cast-out jewelry
Manage raw metal inventory levels
Inspect job orders before and after processing to ensure quality standards are achieved
Maintain a safe work environment and report any safety issues to the Studio Manager
Other duties as instructed by the Studio Manager
Compensation
$22.50 per hour
