As the Specialist, Private Banking SABA, you will be accountable for the resolution of client requests related to the management of Business Operating Accounts (BOA), vetting of account opening documentation related to signing authorities, while upholding compliance to internal controls and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements. How You'll Succeed Analytical Skills - Interpret and validate internal and external requests to open, close, and manage functionality of Business Operating Accounts for new and existing private banking business clients, ensuring procedures are followed and account operating controls are applied. Establish services and products to manage all Business Operating Accounts. Following Regulatory Requirements - Perform all regulatory duties related to business accounts according to AML business requirements, such as obtaining corporate status reports, ensuring articles of incorporation and/or amendment are on hand and liaising with the client to fulfill client information requirements in accordance with AML legislation to allow operation of the account. Relationship Building - Provide assistance to Relationship Managers and service providers, when questions arise relating to the account opening process and/or legislative requirements, ensuring compliance regulations are understood and followed. Who You Are You understand and have working knowledge of all corporate structures registered as Corporations, Limited, Incorporated, Joint Ventures, various types of Partnerships, Trusts, registered Charities, and Government bodies. You can demonstrate working knowledge of the practices, products, services, procedures and principles relating to Private Banking Markets to sufficiently provide advice and interpret policies. You have experience working with Client Connect, Salesforce, COINS, ECIF, ECM and E-signer relative to the subject/functional areas. This would be considered an asset. You're passionate about people.
