Software Developer Constellation HomeBuilder Systems This is a hybrid work situation based in the Markham, Ontario office. The Position The NEWSTAR Software Developer is stationed within our Markham, Ontario office and is a talented, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with strong technical skills and demonstrated verbal and written skills. This candidate will produce high-quality, reliable, and testable OpenEdge ABL code and implement complex enterprise-grade computer application programs. Additionally, the candidate will enjoy collaborating with team members to troubleshoot customer and industry issues, applying due regard for the e?icient use of computing resources. Main Responsibilities Adhere to existing coding standards and development best practices Enhance and extend existing OpenEdge ABL and .NET programs to improve customer experience, meet new requirements, and optimize operational efficiency Diagnose and resolve customer software issues and identify bugs Analyze programs for logic, accuracy, and compliance with written specifications and standards Ensure timely delivery of work in line with product release deadlines Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications and Skills Aptitude to learn programming languages quickly Self-motivated, organized, and dependable, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Experience in designing efficient and complex Microsoft SQL queries Assets to have: C#, ASP.NET, HTML, and internet standards, XML Experience with OpenEdge ABL is a plus About the Company Constellation HomeBuilder Systems, a Perseus Group company, is the leading software provider exclusively focused in the homebuilding industry.
