We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable and Collections Clerk on a short term contract. This role will focus on managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and record customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identifying overdue accounts and initiating collection efforts.
Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment terms, and discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of account activity and collection efforts, updating systems as necessary.
Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial reports.
Assist with addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues related to billing and collections.
Participate in the continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes and procedures.
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Short-term, full time Contract Position
$20–$25/hour
