Provide equipment and process training at the retail support centre. Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment.Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
• Provide Material Handling Equipment Training and Certification to employees in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the CSA for Powered Lift Trucks• Provide Preferred Methods training in accordance to Sobeys’ standard operating procedures• Provide other Standard Operating Procedure training in accordance to Sobeys’ standard operating procedures and training packages• Update employee training records in hardcopy storage and in the training database• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirementWhat you have to offer:
Strong oral and written communication skills• Good understanding of the Ontario Health and Safety Act and CSA standards applicable to warehouse operations• Experienced selector using Sobeys preferred selection methods• Certified MHE operator on pallet truck, reach truck and dock stocker
