We are currently looking for a Senior Representative, Collections/Foreclosure Litigation to join our team report to the Manager, Collections. As the Senior Representative, Collections, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks associated with collection activity across multiple products. The associate will assist with day to day delivery of data to and from vendors, handle account/customer level information requests, liaison with vendors to troubleshoot issues, handle inbound calls and code special circumstance accounts including but not limited to general collections, bankruptcy, litigation and recovery. Liaison with vendors and business partners to ensure quality transfers and data integrity Manage incoming requests (by telephone and email) for account based information related to collection matters and special circumstance accounts Manage Bankruptcy, Litigation and Recovery accounts Validate and approve vendor invoices for payment Support new and existing business initiatives Other tasks as assigned WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR High school diploma Minimum of 1 years of experience in the Financial Services industry performing or call centre environment Understanding of collections processes Customer service-based mind set. Strong negotiation skills Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels and build partnerships with main stakeholders. Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills Excellent written and communication skills with a strong attention to details Must be able to address multiple issues in a high paced/high pressure rapidly changing environment. Time management skills are critical. Bilingualism (English/French) is required to support national operations, collaborate with teams across Canada, and communicate with clients and stakeholders in both official languages. Approximately 50% of the role involves spoken and written communication in English.
