We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our team full-time at our Downtown Vancouver office. This is a fulltime in-office role ideal for someone with a strong sense of ownership, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute across multiple operational areas. The key responsibilities include:
Support HR operations, including compliance, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records
Perform bookkeeping and support financial operations, including expense tracking and reconciliations
Prepare and maintain internal financial reports in coordination with our accounting team
Oversee general office operations to ensure a well-functioning and professional work environment
Assist in scheduling, meeting preparation, and executive calendar management
Help coordinate special projects and administrative tasks as required
Occasional offsite pickup/drop off and making purchases
Proven experience in an administrative, accounting, or HR-related role
Intermediate understanding of bookkeeping and HR fundamentals
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
Nice to Have:
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Familiarity with payroll systems and employment standards in BC
Prior experience working at a tech startup
