We’re looking for a Digital Construction Specialist to join our team. As a Specialist in our Digital Construction team, you’ll have the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges in the construction industry, create complex 3D models, and integrate structural and mechanical systems to assess constructability. You will be working extensively in Revit and/or CATIA and our internally-developed cmCore products (for example, cmBuilder.io) to deliver these large Architectural, Engineering & Construction (AEC) projects.

About the Role
? Conduct Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Reviews: Perform virtual design and construction studies of construction documentation (2D drawings and specifications) for all building elements (e.g. architectural, civil, structural, mechanical & electrical), integrating all disciplines into into a unified 3D parametric model
?? Build 3D Models for Coordination: Create structural (concrete, wood-frame, mass timber and steel systems) and/or mechanical (plumbing, HVAC and electrical) 3D models for coordination and review
? Deliver Constructability Insights: Create virtual RFI client reports to outline issues or challenges and offer actionable constructability feedback
? Collaborate in Project Meetings: Participate and support project coordination meetings and deliver live insights & reports to customers and construction personnel
?? Maintain & Revise the 3D Model: Manage updates to the 3D model throughout all phases of design and construction, ensuring accuracy and version control
? Generate Detailed Drawing Sets: Generate construction detailing packages directly linked to the Digital Twin model, ensuring precision and consistency across documentation.
? Optimize Processes: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, model accuracy, and project outcomes
Knowledge of REVIT will be a big asset
Knowledge of parametric CAD software (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, etc.)
Strong communicator who values clarity and collaboration

This is a great opportunity for someone beginning their engineering career or with a background in construction. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering would be an asset, but all engineering and/or construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply!
Salary, Term & Working Location
$60,000 - $80,000 CAD yearly Salary (commensurate with relevant experience)
Fulltime
Workplace: Hybrid position, with in-office days located at our office in Burnaby, BC
