What we are looking for: Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Cash Administration and Reconciliation, Portfolio Administration, the candidate will provide efficient support to the servicing team, traders, and portfolio managers. The candidate will update various systems used by the Cash Administration and Reconciliation team and will consistently manage relationships with internal and external partners to resolve reconciliation and cash management issues in a timely and effective manner. Your responsibilities: Calculate and communicate daily investable cash balances to portfolio managers Reconcile cash, transactions, and bi-monthly holdings with custodians and other counterparties Collaborate with external counterparties and internal teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies Ensure transactions are entered into the portfolio accounting system accurately and on time Maintain accuracy and quality of information in relevant systems Prepare IBOR vs. Custodian reconciliation reports and other reconciliation reports as needed Provide exceptional service when interacting with internal and external contacts Support internal and external auditors as required Must have requirements to be successful in this role: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in portfolio administration and reconciliation, or other applicable investment operations functions Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other relevant fields is required Completion or pursuit of professional certifications, such as the Canadian Securities Course, CFA, FRM or other designations, is an asset What are the skills and experiences that you bring to succeed in this role: Understanding of how investment managers operate and interact with administrators, brokers, and custodians is essential Working knowledge of equities, bonds, money market securities, and cash management principles Demonstrated analytical thinking and experience resolving trading and reconciliation issues A spirit of continuous process improvement, strong attention to detail, and an intuitive, anticipatory mindset Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a positive team attitude and the ability to meet challenges under pressure Bilingualism (English and French) is required for positions based in Montreal #LI-Hybrid For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
