This position holds an important responsibility to ensure asset velocity, support inventory accuracy and ensure our containers compliant prior to utilization.Level of Responsibility Enhanced task complexity and accountability to customer. Starting to mentor junior staff.QualificationsKey TasksHandle Import/Export freight files from A to Z. Overseeing the daily management of the Maintenance and Repair (M&R) process.Coordinating with repair partners, depots and internal stakeholders for:Stock analysis and tracking of damaged inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels and visibility. Forecasting, repositioning and M&R planning demand. Rate negotiation, rate maintenance, estimate approvals, and invoicing/cost/P&L analysisMonitoring repair quality, turnaround metrics, quality check visits, and repair documentation. Following up on responsible parties and the cost recovery process. Coordinating with Risk Prevention for complex customer-related cases and emergency repairs. Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly reports to stakeholders.Documenting and executing M&R processes through appropriate MSC systems.Tracking Service Level Agreements and communicating updates to the Vendor Management team.Identifying process improvements and/or potential cost savings in daily operations. Experience with containerized cargo movement, min experience of 3 years.
