ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing and Communications Senior Specialist for MCI plays a critical support role in implementing targeted marketing and communications initiatives that enhance Mayo Clinic’s visibility, reputation, and engagement in international markets. This position collaborates closely with global and regional stakeholders to adapt content and campaigns for cultural relevance, coordinate campaign activities, and support communication strategies that align with MCI’s broader strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in the development and rollout of region-specific marketing and communications plans that align with institutional priorities.
•Adapt and produce culturally attuned content for use in campaigns, digital platforms, and external communications, with support from translators and creative partners.
•Support the localization of messaging, materials, and creative assets to ensure cultural, linguistic, and tone-appropriate communication in key global markets.
•Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and quality checks for international campaigns and initiatives.
•Track and compile campaign metrics across regions to inform reporting and optimization efforts.
•Prepare dashboards and updates to support visibility into performance, reach, and engagement across campaigns and channels.
•Work closely with marketing colleagues, international operations, patient services, and creative teams to ensure smooth coordination and campaign alignment.
•Serve as a liaison for operational logistics and regional readiness across global teams and internal stakeholders.
•Partner with enterprise teams to ensure all materials meet Mayo Clinic brand guidelines and quality standards.
QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in a related field plus 3 years of relevant work experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate in a way that creates clarity, simplifies messages, and aligns with organizational strategy. Knowledge of channels for communication and the ability to build effective communication and engagement strategies.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to independently identify opportunities, solutions and resolve challenges. Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful results. Requires an attitude that actively seeks out change, embraces critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement. Must understand how to deal with and navigate ambiguity, and act without having the total picture. Adaptable or flexible.
