This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Dandy. We are currently looking for a Senior UX Engineer, CAD/3D Systems in North America.
Take part in transforming a complex industry by building intuitive, powerful, and elegant user experiences for cutting-edge 3D and CAD-based tools. In this role, you'll lead the design and development of digital dental design interfaces that are easy to use, visually modern, and deeply integrated with AI and 3D model pipelines. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and medical experts to solve real-world problems with clean and scalable front-end solutions. Accountabilities:
- Design and implement sleek, intuitive interfaces for 3D CAD-style digital design tools used by medical professionals.
- Build reusable, modular components in React and manage complex UI states using modern front-end practices.
- Integrate user interfaces with AI-driven model pipelines and 3D scan interaction tools (WebGL/Three.js).
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to solve technical challenges across multiple domains.
- Implement observability into user behavior to support better product decisions and machine learning training.
- Champion user-centric development by advocating for speed, efficiency, and design simplicity in workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in front-end/UI development, UX engineering, or design technology roles.
- Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and scalable front-end architecture.
- A portfolio showcasing practical UI/UX design and development experience.
- Familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g. Blender, SketchUp, AutoCAD) is a strong plus.
- Experience working with WebGL libraries like Three.js, and awareness of WASM and Emscripten workflows.
- Comfortable with Figma or other interface design tools.
- Passion for clear, maintainable code and collaborative team culture including code reviews and shared decision-making.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and drive iteration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to thrive in a remote-first setting.
