The Scrum Master (SM) has the responsibility to serve as a key member of the IT Scrum team(s) for product lines.
What will your job look like?
You will need to be a self-starter, self-aware, organized, passionate and committed to leading the transformation working directly with developers, analysts, testers, product owners, business users and other technology areas to ensure rapid product delivery.
Assess vulnerabilities and recommend remediation/mitigation disposition and estimate effort and dependencies for current backlog.
Assess and lead the team’s organization and coach to higher levels of maturity, including team dynamics, at a pace that is sustainable & comfortable.
Facilitate and schedule all Scrum ceremonies.
Monitor team backlog daily and ensure it accurately reflects the current state, including burn-down chart and status, at the release and sprint levels.
Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost effective manner; stay attuned to team needs and remove impediments before they form.
Support and partner with the Product Owner and Scrum team(s) in the definition/refinement/grooming of user stories as well as release planning.
Assist with internal and external communication to improving visibility of information.
Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and lead by example.
Lead the execution of the Product Release Schedule.
Define & maintain Sprint velocity & capacity, track the sprint health and establish a stable velocity.
Uses retrospective techniques to coach the team on continuous improvements and self-accountability.
Participate in the Agile Community whenever possible to keep abreast with Agile Scrum standard methodologies and new trends.
Assist in the transformation of combining remote locations into cohesive teams, when necessary
All you need is...
BA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Proven experience or 5 years' experience working as a Scrum Master with CSM or SAFe SM certification
At least 2 years of experience in large and complex systems with multiple partners
Proven CI/CD automation experience, and Infrastructure oriented
Problem solving and analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
