Reporting to the Director of Financial Accounting, the Financial Accounting Manager oversees all accounting and financial activities related to the Information Technology, Finance, and Legal departments. Acting as a key business partner, the manager ensures full visibility over operational and project-related costs, including major transformation initiatives such as the SAP implementation (Leap project) and the cybersecurity roadmap. This role serves as the primary finance liaison for the VPs of IT, Finance, and Legal, providing strategic guidance and financial governance. Salary range 006 : 95 900$ à 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position). What’s involved in this role: Financial Management and Oversight: Lead the full accounting cycle for administrative costs related to IT, Finance, and Legal (Opex, Capex, non-recurring expenses, intercompany charges), including budget preparation, forecasts, and monthly financial reviews (Canada & US). Project Governance: Oversee financial governance of major projects such as SAP Leap and the cybersecurity plan, ensuring accurate reporting, internal control compliance, and presentation of results to executive leadership. Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of four employees, including a project controller and intern, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Provide financial analyses, business case development, and reporting tools to support decision-making for strategic investments and IT initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT Directors and Finance VPs to align operational and financial strategies and represent the Finance function within the IT leadership committee. What you need to join our team: Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting option) and CPA designation required; Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, including expertise in IT project accounting and financial reporting; Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori, and strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros); Language Skills: Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written; Key Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, leadership in process improvement, agility, curiosity, and a client-focused mindset.
