What You Will Do: Start-up and operate the Heat Treat Furnace Assist in the tensile test process Work collaboratively with the Nor-Peen operators to ensure proper flow of material Assist Crane Operators as needed Perform minor machine maintenance as required Perform quality inspections Complete all required paperwork, including, but not limited to, quality and cleaning plans Work in a safe manner, follow all rules, regulations, and legislation Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines Position Details: Working at the South Edmonton facility exclusively Permanent Full-time Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions) Overtime as required Weekend shift may be required dependent on business conditions Minimum Qualifications: Excellent organization skills Able to prioritize Reliable Able to work in a hot environment Able to work independently and with others Ale to read, write and effectively communicate in English Must be available for shift work as required Must be available for overtime as required Pre-employment Requirements: Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
