As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes during evening hours, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.Prepare and cook menu items according to our standards and recipesSet up and stock stations with necessary suppliesMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelinesMonitor and maintain appropriate food temperatures during storage and serviceAssist with inventory management and stock rotationCommunicate effectively with our customers to ensure smooth serviceAdapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentParticipate in kitchen cleanup and set up procedures for the shift.Bake items for the next daybuild sandwiches and salads etc for the grab and go fridgehelp with early morning caterings as required.QualificationsMinimum 1 years of experience as a line cookProficiency in various cooking techniques and ability to work multiple stationsStrong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesSkill in using kitchen equipment and tools efficientlyExcellent multitasking and time management abilitiesGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work night shifts and weekends as requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentFood Handler's Certificate (preferred)Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and seasonal ingredientsAdditional InformationSodexo is committed to Employment Equity and Diversity.
