Cabin Resource Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in forestry, heritage, wildfire planning and resource analysis. We are currently looking to add a Junior Forest Technician to our Forestry team for Fall 2025.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Forest Technician you will be responsible for the following:
GPS and field data collection/troubleshooting/management
Riparian assessments
Assist with timber cruising
Timber Reconnaissance
Road/cut block traversing and surveying
Site Plan data collection
This position is working out within the field in all weather conditions
What we are looking for:
A proven commitment to safety
A huge passion for forestry and ability to be an awesome team member
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Education in forestry with a Forestry Tech Diploma, Forestry Degree, Natural Resource and Environmental Science Degree, RPF or RFT designation and/or experience within the forestry field is preferred
All other forestry experience is considered an asset
