What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the Meat Cutter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members. The Meat Cutter excels in product knowledge, technical skills of cuts, and efficient production of product. Key responsibilities are but not limited to;
Ensure all production and preparation adheres to the production schedule, quality cuts, recipes, and product quality standards.
Filling empty or open spots on the display case, ensuring specials are always well merchandise, performing quality control checks and product rotation, communicate with the Store Manager.
Provide good customer service, attends to customer requests, ensuring that they are the priority.
Responsible for safely operating and the regular preventative maintenance of equipment used in the course of work.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in retail/food service and you have:
Good understanding of types of cuts and preparation methods of meat
Ability to quickly learn, applicable food handling and sanitation requirements.
Ability to use knives, scales, and other equipment safely and with care.
Excellent hand and eye coordination
