Together with senior leadership, the Director plans and executes strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and cultivate a positive experience for guests and team members in accordance with Eataly’s mission.Reports directly to the VP of Operations and directly manages the store’s leadership team in Restaurants, Retail, Quick Service, Culinary, Facilities, and collaborates with Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources to achieve overall organizational goals.Collaborates with corporate and global senior leadership to understand company strategy and develops and implements strategic plans for store operations aligned with the overall business objectivesDirects the store strategy and oversees day-to-day operations ensuring that Eataly standards are consistently met in terms of guest service, financial objectives, efficient process, health and safetyLeads management of labor, costs, inventory, regulatory compliance, pricing, and merchandisingDevelops and manages the store operations budget and implements cost control measures while maintaining high quality standardsEstablishes and monitors KPIs to measure and improve store performanceAnalyzes sales data, guest feedback, and other relevant metrics to make informed decisionsPromotes interdepartmental collaboration, staying in constant communication with store leaders regarding store performance and strategic initiativesServes as the final decision-making point of contact in addressing problems related to the storeMotivates, inspires, and develops team through setting clear expectations and leading by examplePartners with HR to be actively involved in hiring, performance reviews, and terminations Represents the store to the community and guestsPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree8+ years of management experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant and/or retail environmentPassion for Italian food and hospitalityStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OutlookExceptional communication, leadership, motivational, and team-building skills Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and business management skillsExperience with Italian cuisine and wine highly preferred Additional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental LeaveRRSP with company matchBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!Eataly is committed to creating and maintaining a workplace that is free from harassment and discrimination under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
