Reporting to the Birch Hills Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Perform daily cash-ups and deposits, organize all related paperwork, and send to administration office.
• Order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock for daily operations.
• Receive and process both JD Edwards (JDE) and flagged invoices to ensure accurate record keeping.
• Perform weekly pump reconciliations by checking pump balances in Vista, Investigate discrepancies and document findings.
• Input pricing for upcoming sales, perform price verification process and other file maintenance duties.
• Activate new lottery ticket packets, stock counter, and enter new tickets into system to ensure accurate tracking and availability.
• Assist with all signage on the floor.
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of the office to ensure an efficient and orderly work environment.
• Complete large amounts of data entry, with seated work, and significant use of computerized workstation.
• Assist on sales floor with stock, rotation, and display of merchandise, operation of point-of-sale system (POS), assisting guest with item selection.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service and previous file maintenance experience would be considered assets.
• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
• You have strong data entry skills and extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office and POS system.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills; attention to detail, versatility, creativity and flexibility are required.
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You must be able to fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour is required while assisting on sales floor and performing inventory counts.
• You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, and holidays.
