Job Type: Regular Invest in you, JOIN AGROPUR. We dairy you! As an Inventory Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our finished goods distribution strategy and customer satisfaction. Your key role will be to replenish finished products between our plants and distribution centers using SAP-PPDS software. Working closely with our manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and customer service team, you’ll ensure products are available in the right place at the right time by executing replenishment orders. You’ll also play a vital role in maintaining and implementing new work methods aimed at maximizing customer service levels while minimizing overall operational costs across Agropur’s plants and peripheral warehouses. All of this will take place in a dynamic and collaborative environment within a growing department. Salary scale 003: $61,400 to $76,800 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.) What’s involved in this role Ensure optimal balance of finished goods availability (DRP) based on needs, including orders, sales forecasts, and warehouse space optimization. Define and maintain DRP parameters in SAP to ensure the system generates transfer proposals based on constraints and business rules (e.g., batch size, lead time, logistics capacity). Collaborate closely with production planning, distribution centers, and customer service to ensure complete and timely deliveries. Monitor and act on current KPIs such as stock loss projections and service levels to support continuous improvement. Identify and act on gaps between demand forecasts and available finished goods. Follow up with the logistics team on inter-site deliveries when necessary. Keep transactional and system data up to date. Participate in a knowledge-sharing community. Occasionally travel to sites under your responsibility. Other assigned or necessary projects/tasks. What you need to join our team: Degree in logistics, operations management, supply chain, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory or logistics management. Proficiency in inventory management systems, SAP, Excel, Power BI. Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues in other Canadian provinces). Ability to travel occasionally to plants.
