Wild Rose Co-operative Association Ltd. is recruiting for a driven Petroleum Sales Representative who will specialize in sales at our fast-growing Killam Bulk Plant, as well as leverage sales across our other commodities such as Agriculture and Home & Farm Supply.

What you’ll do:
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and build petroleum, oil and lube sales in local and expanding trading area
Provide customers with good, efficient, courteous service
Utilize and initiate customer contact programs
Resolve customer concerns
Aid in the development and understand business planning, budgets and price strategy
Utilize the BRIC system
Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Work safely and watch for the safety of others around you
This role will require the use of various computer programs and phone applications, as well as the lifting of heavy products

Who you are:
You have a certificate, diploma or degree in a Sales and marketing related program
3+ years Direct Sales experience (including cold calling, cross-promoting, making in person home or business calls)
You have knowledge of the Agriculture industry and its related products and equipment
You possess the ability to work as part of a team, you have excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and listening skills, and can be persuasive;
You have an understanding of financial statements and inventory controls
You can plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
A valid Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract
Related experience in the Co-operative Retailing System is considered an asset
Be able to travel at least 60% locally and 20% throughout Western Canada
This position will report to the Petroleum Manager.
This position is based on 40 hours per week, with some on-call, weekends and overtime required based on operational needs. This is a salaried position. This position will include a company truck and cell phone and will require travelling around the sales area performing customer sales calls and deliveries daily.
