POSITION SUMMARY: In the Project Management & Release team, the position involves providing support to a team of Technical Project Managers who provide direction to all QNX product development projects. The successful candidate will act as a project coordinator, supporting project managers by : Assisting the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans Being the liaison between the project team and project clients throughout the project life cycle Helping project managers monitor project progress and the team's performance and provide updates to project stakeholders Scheduling stakeholder meetings, document and generate reports Fostering cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables The candidate will also participate in special projects for the project management team, designing and implementing project management work aids. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Currently pursuing post-secondary education in a related field Strong interest in project management and the product life cycle Excellent communication and interpersonal skills An eagerness to learn and solve problems Ability to adapt to and manage change Organizational skills including time management, delegation, planning, goal setting and decision-making Familiarity with QNX, Linux or other UNIX-like operating systems as well as programming experience in C, Python and shell scripting would be a benefit but is not a requirement Compensation and Benefits:We have immense pride in our co-op and intern students.
