Job Summary
The House Cleaner is a valued member of the home care team who performs a variety of cleaning tasks in private residences. Under the direction of the Care Coordinator, the House Cleaner helps ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
Responsibilities
Perform routine home cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
Clean kitchens and bathrooms thoroughly
Change bed linens and do laundry as requested
Maintain cleaning checklists and follow client-specific instructions
Notify supervisor of any safety or maintenance concerns
Travel to and from client homes as assigned
Treat clients and their homes with respect, care, and professionalism
Qualifications
Previous professional or personal cleaning experience preferred
Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Must be comfortable working in a variety of home environments, including around pets
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks
Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Access to a mobile phone and the internet
