What you’ll do:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Oversee the general operation of the food franchises, following manuals and guidelines set out, while maintaining quality and standard in both food and guest services.
• Lead a culture of safety – train, monitor, and reinforce Food Safety procedures base on company and Food Safety regulations, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations – including ordering, receiving, inventory control, costing.
• Have a complete understanding of the point of sale and record keeping systems, complete end of shift, end of day and end of period processes.
• Address guest complaints and concerns promptly.
• Ensure that the restaurant is meticulously organized and staffed, recruit, supervise, coach, train, mentor, and manage the performance of the team.
• Ensure compliance with company operating policies, procedures, and guidelines including asset protection, safety, food safety, and environmental due diligence.
• Perform minor repairs to assets, as required.
• Complete other duties, as required.

Who you’ll work with: Reporting to the Director, Retail Energy, you will be a key participant in initiating, developing, and executing plans and policies to ensure continued growth in sales, service, and customer satisfaction. You will help lead a fun and enthusiastic team to cultivate a culture of collaboration.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Quick Serve Restaurant Operations and Customer Service and:
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years’ leadership experience in food service such as quick-serve manager, restaurant manager, franchise general manager.
• You have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to successfully motivate and work with team members.
• You are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You are highly organized and detail-oriented and have the ability to oversee multiple aspects of two franchises simultaneously.
• You must have strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices and be willing to obtain Food Wise certification.
• You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, are an effective planner, and have superb time management skills.
• You have Point of Sale experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest-facing environment.
• You are available for day travel within the Lake Country Co-op trading area to attend seminars, meetings, training programs, and other events.
• You must be able to plan and organize your own work and that of others, supervise others, and delegate to others.
• You have a valid Class 5 license.
• You have the ability to fulfill the physical job requirements including extensive manual labour; must be comfortable standing for an entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
