L'ambition du groupe et sa trajectoire d'hyper-croissance doivent nous permettre de dépasser les 4 milliards d'euros de chiffre d'affaires à horizon 2029.Job DescriptionAs an eco-design deployment intern for North America, you will work under the supervision of the Ecodesign Project Manager within the Group's ESG Climate Department and the local ESG lead.Your role will be to provide the operational teams in the North America region with a practical manual for the eco-design of infrastructure projects, in line with existing frameworks in the region and at Egis.In 2022, Egis committed to eco-designing 100% of its projects by 2030. This is a major commitment that involves transforming the design processes, acting on two major levers: 1) reducing negative impacts on the community and the environment (greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, biodiversity and ecosystems, pollutions, soil sealing and conversion); 2) strengthening the resilience of territories and built assets to climate risks. In this respect, Egis has launched the Act4ecodesign program. This transformation program is based on internal training and a framework to enable project design teams to assess the environmental impacts of their project and propose environmental performance objectives. Act4ecodesign has been deployed in some regions across the world. The deployment in North America, which is a high-growth region for Egis, is starting from May 2025.In this challenging context, you will contribute to:- Identify and study existing sustainability and eco-design frameworks in the region for infrastructure and buildings, with particular attention to infrastructure (ex.: Envision, SITES, LEED, BREEAM Infrastructure, ... )- Analyse the practices and references of projects in terms of sustainability and reduction of negative environmental impacts of Egis' main competitors in the region- Co-construct with operational staff in North America a practical eco-design manual applicable to infrastructure projects and consistent with existing frameworks within and outside Egis- Support operational staff in using the manual and implementing eco-design on projects- Document and capitalize on experienceQualificationsYou have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and you are currently a graduate student in sustainability or environmental program, with a grounding in construction engineering.You are committed to the energy and environmental transition and are sensitive to the challenges of change managementYou are looking for a 6-month internship to apply the academic knowledge you have acquired during your studiesYou are fluent in English and French and have intercultural management skills.You have strong interpersonal and writing skills in English and French.You are autonomous, dynamic and able to make suggestions.Your ability to engage in critical analysis, dialogue and problem solving with operational staff will be essential to your success in this role.Additional InformationSpecific context of the Business Unit Egis is an international consulting, engineering, project development and operating group in the fields of transport, cities, construction, industry, water, environment, and energy.The group's ambition is to be a leading player in the fight against climate change and in improving people's quality of life.
