We are actively seeking a contract Health & Safety Capital Advisor to join our team. The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will work closely with Drilling, Completions and Well Servicing to develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and operational safety strategies and programs for the Lloydminster Conventional & Thermal Heavy Oil Business Units. They will play a key role in developing and maintaining hazardous materials programs, conducting inspections and investigations, and providing recommendations for continuous safety improvements. The ideal candidate will be located in Unity or surrounding areas. Responsibilities: Providing input into the development and implementation of the Health & Safety Management System, including the Emergency Management processes. Maintaining and evaluating the Health & Safety Management System on a regular basis. Mentoring, coaching, and supporting front-line staff for the Health & Safety Management System functionality. Supporting and guiding area emergency response plans and exercises Incident response, investigations, and reporting Providing ongoing safety communications to work groups and interacting with various regulatory agencies and contractors. Requirements: OHS certification and CRSP designation or equivalent 10 years minimum of process and/or occupational safety-related industry experience Extensive experience with Health & Safety Management Systems, especially the development, implementation and evaluation of these systems is required.
